The summer of 2008 saw members of the Bing, along with P.L.U.S. Band lead guitarist Dan Shramo and monster bassist Darren Thompson, have some fun with a side project performing the music of the Grateful Dead live. Late in 2009, Dave Blackerby, beloved Sultans bassist of yore, joined the group while Thompson was otherwise engaged (most often as bassist for powerhouse Zydeco jammers Mo'Mojo.

The spring of 2010 sees Into The Blue bringing their Grateful Dead Revival show to fine clubs and theaters around the scenic Northeast Ohio region.
